I would be interested to know as well if anyone dare to short gold in this forum.

It takes lots of skill and a perfect timing to be able to play the short side of a generational bull market. I know that I am not capable of doing such thing.

Disclaimer: I am long gold and short paper money.

Default Members and Gold Price

The no of goldclubasia members has shot up to 251 as we reach the USD1000 mark. We started off with just 30 plus I think. A new high today. Each time Gold have a big runup we see more people joining.

Perhaps an indication of how gold interest will be like. Now, my colleagues wants me to talk about gold during lunch. Somehow they arent buyers of gold yet. "Gold price is high now right?" "Wah, so expensive" "I wait for it to go down first" "Cannot cannot, I have no money" (all the while this guy is going on holidays to exotic places)

So for the USD1000 party I wonder where we can hold it. It is going to get too big for a Starbuck.
