That's right, eat healthy, exercise often and build up strength and stamina.

That way when shtf, your odds of survival are increased because you are in better shape to begin with.

Remember Zombieland rule no. 1 : Cardio. People who run faster and longer are better able to survive being eaten Same goes for running from the enemy/angry mob/incoming arty shell etc.
what kind of survival kit are u refering to? share please.

You know, the usual : rope, compass, leatherman, matches, portable water filtration kit, fishing line with hooks, flashlight, batteries, small radio, ziplock bag, firestarter, swiss army knife, toilet paper, soap, toothbrush and paste, nail clippers etc

Thank you . A healthy immune system is also better able to fend off infections if you get wounded and there's no antibiotics around.

IF in the event that most/all of the HDB flats and other buildings/structures have collapsed due to an event (war/earthquake/others), where would be a good place to stay/shelter in order to survive?

assuming the decision is made to stay on in SG, not run away.

please share your thoughts.

In a partially collapsed building with the entrances hidden (sealed off to outside) by debris.

I bet MRT tunnels as a short term solution ..... if the pumping system is still working. Otherwise, it will be flooded.

If buildings collapse, I will try to stay away from the debit. There will be garbage, rats, crocroacks and mosquito sharing the space with me. It will become my tomb eventually.

If most building collaspe, there will not be enough land in Singapore to hold the population even if we were to stand shoulder to shoulder and never lay down to sit or sleep. Some will fall out of the land into the sea and try to swim to Indonesia or jB. This is a country who cannot afford any crisis.

Go off shore to Ubin/Tekong

Otherwise, hide out in a nature reserve next to the reservoir (remember to bring water purifying kit and insect repellent) and put a camo net over your camp.

Most of the population may try to evacuate overseas to JB or Indonesia (assuming we're not at war with them) but after a while who knows, the Malaysian govt may even close the borders if their supplies are stretched out too thin.
