Default USB Powered 65/85 Wh Power banks

Saw this at Comex.

Easier to link to another forum for this purpose. Admin can take the image, upload somewhere and remove the forum link.

Works well for SHTF. Need a good Solar Panel setup for charging but no need for inverter as the inverter is built in.

Price is cheap now. Considering a 65Wh set first for backup.

Note that is it not 65Wh, it is 65W max load. The capacity is 12000 mAh... I doubt it can power a macbook for 12 hrs.. The macbook charger draws 45W. It won't even last 1.5 hrs if it was 65Wh... So where the forum guy got 14 hrs from, I don't know.

Link to the brochure...

heh, sorry, just noticed you posted both.

Frankly, I passed physics and I'm confused about this too. It is not straight forward to convert from mAh to Wh in practice. That's probably why they keep switching between the units all the time.. Theoretically there's an formula but since this one works by converting from DC xV to 110V AC then the charger in turn transforms back to DC again there are a lot of losses on the way.

How long would this one last? I wouldn't dare to even guess.

I have a 13k mAh one that is able to charge my iPad twice.

Find one that can feed straight in to the laptop without the charger and it would be much better. You can read on the charger how much it feeds, usually 19V 3A or so.
