Ha, ha. Looks like MAS overprinted the SG50 notes and whenever I go to the bank the counter staff always ask me to exchange some and take the excess off them Lelong, lelong, man. I told them that I will exchange some if they can give me a 10% discount. The Mint should have minted some SG50 gold coins instead. Not sure whether they will mint a gold coin for the 200th Anniversary of the founding of Singapore by Sir Stamford Raffles in 2019 which is only in three years' time. By the looks of it, I don't think so as Raffles' reputation does nor appear to be in the Government's good books nowadays, not like in 1969.

Haha seem like they overprinted. They should kept at 300k like previous commerative note.

The commerative notes could be momento of notes before our currency is mostly digitize.

Do u all find singapore mint coins are overly price ?
Buy liao, if u want to liquidate, u will definitely loose $$$
