Default I saw Perth Mint is delaying new orders of 1KG bars

on the web (Silver Bullion Bars)

I may be selling few Perth Mint Bars, if one kilo is big, can try 20 oz bar.
(I don't want to sell too many of my own silver away).

1 pc per person limit.

(good to PM me, if silver spot is >xx usd)
You may want to use the most transacted price before making me an offer.

NO low ball offer please.

this is easy, I am here to supply in case you need one, when the supply comes back again, I am out fishing.

the equation is simple, I give you the silver, how much paper you will give me in return?

one more thing, if you see a lot of people selling, then no need to ask.

There are a lot of bars! very good.

NOW there are even more bars, older 100 oz, the biggy...added 3/8/11 12 noon
so I am keeping my bars for a few more months now, till end of the year.

Hello Mr Alor,

My brother just purchased a 1kg bar from Perth mint. They are beautiful and heavy. he had just showed me his bar and I am really impressed - I never knew silver can be investment!

I want to save up so I can buy my own bars! You seem to be the forum owner?? As I see you sell a lot.

Why sell only 1 bar per person?

And does your bar come with a receipt? GST paid? I was told I needed GST to be paid.

thankyou!

Hi Serene, Welcome to the forum!
I do not run this side, only a member like many other members here.

The bars I own was bought many years ago, when silver was cheap, so for anything below $400 if you buy from outside of Singapore, the government does not collect GST from you.

If you want to have a GST paid + receipt, you can buy from a local company, they can issue you a receipt which show that the price+GST inclusive.
if you buy from an individual most likely you will not get the receipt, as usually the case, the original owner's address and ic etc will be shown there. No body will tell you where they lives.

So as I bought from many Individuals locally, then I did not get receipt from them either.

If you buy direct from overseas, many dealers which use FEDEX or UPS. they will pay the GST first and bill you or collect from you before releasing to you.
It depends, sometime they bill me later.

so you will have a receipt, and a GST payment receipt and another payment collection receipt. total 3, just for one item purchased, and credit card receipt as well and PayPal receipt as well. For all these information, I don't think anyone will be willing to give away.

I do not see for selling a second hand item require a receipt, if you sell an item to cash converters, they just need your ID.

I don't really want to sell my silver, as the price may go up very high in the future, but some times need cash, so just in case I need some cash.

This is a forum where people with common interest share and exchange ideas.

Thanks Alor - really nice reply and I appreciate your time! Am still learning and I wished I knew of gold and silver (other than jewelery!) as an investment!

I don't think they will supply to any in the next couple of weeks. I am lucky to stock up many pieces before that. Maybe that is also one of the reason it is out of stock :P
