Default buying from overseas

Hi,

I bought a coin from ebay more than 2 months ago.
Its less than $100 so shouldnt need to pay gst.
however until now i never receive my item.
the coin is shipped from US, and I got the tracking number which never changed it status.

I contacted the seller and he said could probably stuck at customs.

now how do I check on that?

thanks

you should have raised a claim back then, i think the eligible period is 45 days? i've not claimed before, but if i remember reading somewhere its 45 days. I ordered something from ebay too, and its coming up to 30 days since shipping from the US, think theres really something wrong with USPS

teddy, if ICA/customs detains your coin, or any other shipments, they will send you a notice via post. so probably you should check your mail for any such notice..

It is already 2 months. Doubt ebay will entertain but you can give is a shot. Next option is try asking seller for refund, either partial or full.

why didn't you call singpost after your package was sent from US? I got a package from Slovenia was shipped on 10 Sept. I called singpost just now, the customer service officer said that my package is expected to arrive in singapore within 10 working days.

Even we can't track the package at singpost website, but they have some information in their system already.

it shouldn't be a customs issue, probably USPS (they are nearly bankrupt)

i have had about $200 of coins sent by post from US before, arrived fine.

You can go to USPS website to track it. I bought one coin from US west coast sent on 8 Sep and only received today 27 Sep. USPS really kept the items in their warehouse for quite a while. Maybe not enuff money to pay workers.
