Being a member here, I also read and was thinking to cancel my order after hearing the rumors.

Luckily I managed to talk to Andrew over at 1silver1. Apparently, Singapore Silver was also notified of the rumor as well and have sent a defamation notice to the Tom Brown guy.

What Andrew said makes sense.

Other than what that 1 sentence that Tom Brown guy said, I mean I don't see why would anyone think that 1silver1 or Singapore Silver be connected to Rob Gray. Anyone can find any proof?

Or are 1silver1 competitors trying to bring them down with all these rumors? Hrm...
Can post pix ? Thanks for clearing the air. I guess rumors spread due to reports of Rob Gray taking quite a few trips to Singapore. For what reason though, I dunno.

It was a warning that Rob Gray was involved in creation of Singapore Silver and some posts calling him a thief. The mod deleted it because as Rob has not been formally charged nor convicted it constituted defamation and they didn't want to be sued.

That's a nice looking bar all right. I did expect the surface to have a mirror finish though.

all manufactured bars look the same, once stacked then you can not see it.

for the sake of varieties, need to get one... but wait in the last of the queue

let me complete all other cheaper similar bars first.
