Yes, I agreed your point. not easy as before.
However, sometime going in and out to catch a quick look worth the effort.
Had managed to catch some 90s' Perth Mint fractional coins.

SG Mint, yes. some even with the nice boxes. I believe those SG Mint coins could have been gifted from parents and the second generations sold them away without knowing their value. I was scratching my head and asked myself how much can they get by pawning away!!

Hardly and should said, never seen silver coins, unlike i seem in CHINA's pawnshops. Wonder when can we see the common sight of pawning silver?

Do come across some silver bullion coins at cash converter outlets.. nothing to my fancy though in term of price and condition.

Hey all,

Just an update. Went to MaxiCash yesterday they accepted but had to remove the capsule and do some kind of water density test. Actually I made a mistake at MaxiCash. Their test took the Philharmonic away from my view under their platform. If they are not honest they could easily switch it with a fake and I would not be aware of it. Do keep your eye on your bullion at all times if you just wish to run checks like me.

Following anlok's advice went to an individual entity pawnshop also no issue. Their check was short and cursory just examing under the scope but need to remove from capsule.

Summary liquidation of Philharmonic still not that bad. Think might be a one off issue with that particular attendant at ValueMax. Thanks everyone for their advice and insights !!

Lol nah, didn't sell or pawn.

The original purpose of me to check at pawnshop was for authenticity and ease of liquidation xD

Actually using pawnshop to check authenticity is a waste of time. They don't really how the proper equipment nor the full knowledge to differentiate. I have explained to some close members here how pawnshops really "test" your gold. But too lazy to post again.
