Default OMG Gold drops below 1800 and silver below 40

Now Gold is 1763.70
Now Silver is 39.37

I think this marks a new downtrend; not a simple correction.
Shall see how it trends in the morning.

Default no worries

Don't worry. Today (Friday) is options expiry day when the banking cartel traditionally whacks PM's. Then there is the big Jackson Hole meetings with Bernanke scheduled to speak today. So the algo's go to work to make him look good.

Jim Sinclair could see this coming. That's why he's been warning us this past week, investors sit tight.... traders lighten up positions.

Silver prices have fallen to where they were 1 week ago. Which brings the following theories to mind:
  • Nefarious bankers are manipulating PM prices
  • Profit-taking
  • Markets reacting to assorted news
  • Volatility in the price of silver
  • Margin calls against large long positions (that was suggested by a market trader)
  • Safe haven trade is weakening (US long-term treasuries are slowly creeping up in yield)

Grateful for this opportunity to stack more! Use it to redeem physical PMs with your 'IOUs'!
