I don't think Daiso's magnets are as strong as Ernest's one.

If you have afaulty hard drive you can dismantle it and get the pair of rare earth magnet which is very strong.

Not sure if there are different grades of magnets, but the Daiso's one are rare earth (neodymium) magnets too.

Magnet will not be attracted to gold or silver bullion, it only attracts anything that has iron in it.

so let said i go around buying gold/silver from people out of the shop i should bring a super strong magnet around to test whether it hold onto the coin.if so, meaning fake. i dont tjink people will let me to the drop test for sound.

this too me a hell time dismanting the hdd for the magnet. the allen head screw not possiable to purchase the screw driver. i had to use force to prey open the hdd.
the magnet is super strong.
good to finally own one.

strong rare earth magnets has a diamagnetic effect on pure silver.

it will not attract not repel the magnets...but when u bring the magnet beside the pure silver...you will feel a weird force. sortof like the magnet is floating on the bar/coin.
