Usually in jun and August, there will be a GSS and national day promotion which is pretty good. Sometimes a few months free or even 50% off for 2nd box.

I can't remember if there is an extra $200 deposit for the key, but if that were really the case, I still think that some people would rather pay than to be waitlisted indefinitely while queuing up for a box in a bank.

Furthermore, banks also have their own conditions. E.g. UOB now requires new customers to put a SGD 10K fixed deposit in order to rent a box from them, not to mention the long waiting list.

But I would, if I have 200 pieces of 10 oz Silver Bar. With 200 pieces, I am a serious stacker.
And you would need a big box, or several ... cos that would be 62kg. Kinda hard to handle all at once.

I kind of like the x-small box, can put a roll of big coins together, and id them on the capsules rims not sure can fit in 30 kgs or not

Depending on quantity I'd think a larger safe with a a few thirsty hippo / silica gel tubs in there would be much better value for money. Singapore has such a low chance of home invasion keeping it at home should also be cost effective (good safes less than $500). If you only stack silver those deposit boxes will eat your investment value away pretty much immediately?
