think higher oil price has got something to do with it.

maybe RBS report on stock market crash in jul has also got some allocating their funds into the PMs.

hope the rally in PMs will be sustained this time.

Not just RBS. Barclays, and some other private banks have also sent similar 'imminent crash' circulars to private clients.

It's starting ...

Historically, no banks sent out "crash alerts" before big crashes. 1929 and 1987 were both unexpected events by the banks.

There is actually lots of value in the equity markets now, I have been looking at Starbucks now for a while.

But, nothing will beat PMs in the next 3 years. So no deals for me in the stock markets.

I actually hope that PMs will stay at these levels for the next few months or even dip. I don't intend to strike rich through PMs, I look at them as a form of saving and interest.

am I mistaken? I thought when you invest in PMs, you do not have interest accumulation. You are only hoping for the price to go up, in order to justify the investment opportunity lost.

You are not alone here my friend. In fact we all are fascinated by PMs, else we wouldn't be here. We are all under the "Curse of Gold".
